a country walk

whilst waiting to move into our london apartment we are living in wadhurst, south of london. today we took the thomson's dog, lily, for a walk through the country side.

this past weekend we made it to southport to see our english relatives! it is so great to be near to family again and we had a ball catching up with everyone. thank you all for making us feel so welcome!

red tour, green tour

for the last two days we have been exploring the landscape of cappadocia; in goreme (red tour!) and the ihlara valley (green tour!) the landscape here is absolutely amazing- so good it even made the cut for star wars movie, episode one - the phantom menace!

we have visited numerous early christian churches, monasteries and underground cities, walked along the river in the ihlara valley, and discovered that tobes is quite the craftsman (check out his breakfast bowl...!)

this morning we took a hot air balloon ride over cappadocia! the landscape looked beautiful from the air, as did the other hundred balloons floating around us! it was a great way to start our day.

i'd like to be under the sea

we've been cruising the mediterranean for the last couple of days- it is easy to spend all of your time underwater when the water temperature is a constant 24 degrees!
