sculptures

we managed to visit sculptures by the sea together (a great feat at the moment as we are both working weekends!) a few weeks back. it was a great, bright morning and we loved the walk and checking out all of the artwork on display, we finished off with breakfast in bondi.

luna park

being tourists in our own city.

now we're home, we hope we can keep our eagerness and enthusiasm for exploration alive in our own city.

there are always events, parks, fairs and beaches to explore, new cafes, bars and picnic spots to try, and the best bit- all of our friends and family around to share it with.

now that we've settled in, we're back to sharing our adventures here.

last stop; hong kong

the last hoorah! on route to sydney we stopped off in hong kong to see one last city and kick the jetlag before arriving home. we stayed in kowloon and spent our time wandering the markets and tucking into dim sums!

it is such a dense and busy city, there as much to see. some favourite spots were the cat street antique markets, temple street night markets, the avenue of stars and mong kok district for the various pet stores!

and it rained!

we planned for a camping roadtrip, what we got was the bed and breakfast tour! we had an amazing time driving through scotland, the weather was wet enough to keep us out of our tent but fine enough for daytime exploring.

we drove from glasgow, through loch lommond to oban. then headed north to fort augustus and the southern end of loch ness. we then made our way west to the isle of skye, where we enjoyed the most spectacular scenery and one night of camping! on our way back south we visited stirling and the william wallace monument, before spending two days exploring edinburgh.
