welcome to spring
today toby came home from a week of skiing, and the sun came out to welcome him home!
the common was filled with people having picnic lunches and ice cream vans were on almost every corner. we plan to spend tomorrow outdoors again on a picnic with friends- if the sun comes out to play again!

oh barcelona
happy birthday toby! to celebrate toby's birthday we had a lovely long weekend in barcelona. our legs are a little tired as we walked and biked everywhere! from flea markets and park guell in the north, the districts of el raval, el gotic and el born and then the southern port and beaches- we made the most of being outside in the warm weather!
the whole city is covered with little bars and cafes so we had to stop often to try out the delicious tapas and sangria's along the way. more photos of our favourite sites to come later- when we can sort through them all!
