brixton village

 on a very rainy saturday evening we  donned our wellies to head out for dinner!

just down the road from us is brixton village, a fresh produce market come dining precinct in the evenings. there is a relaxed vibe amongst the numerous small market style cafes, all selling cheap eats with byo drinks and live music- and they're all under one roof! perfect hang out when the weather is wet.

paris snapshots

 

home again! paris was the most amazing week away. we managed to tick off all of the exciting must sees/dos on our list whilst also enjoying some relaxing time -having sleep ins and reading and picnicking in the parks!

as well as seeing the city monuments and cathedrals, highlights include spending a day wandering the grounds of versailles, visiting the most incredible antique markets in st. ouen (and coming home with an antique ice bucket!) and collecting ourselves some delicious macarons from laduree!


we arrived home on sunday after a very easy train ride back, and are now back into work and paying for the damage!
