australia day

no bbq and lilo's this year, australia day london style was all about cosy drinks and a lamb roast! thank you to the lovely elyse and tamara for organising the festivities, we just wish there had been a public holiday to follow!

dessert for dinner!

over the weekend we got all dressed up to head to the pudding parlour at the athenaeum hotel- possibly the nicest place to spend an evening! just ten pounds each gets you one visit to the pudding parlour, a desserts and cocktail lounge. it was a fun and delicous saturday night date, we had vanilla mojitos and sticky wines to accompany our treats, and because their selection was far bigger than our stomache's- they gave us a cupcake to take home!

camden market

the best markets we've visited yet! we spent most of our saturday afternoon browsing the stables, where all the vintage stalls are. we collected a vintage r.a.f bag and a green silk dress. (and  brownie 'cake pops' for the walk back to the station!)

tubs hitting the powder! last week toby went back to austria for a week of boarding and hanging out with benni. (the snow man is called humphrey!)

hampton court

on a cold monday morning we (minus a holidaying toby) visited hampton court palace and gardens for some good tourist shots and a bit of history. the grounds were beautiful and it was a great way to wrap up the new years long weekend! now we've said farewell to luke it is back to london life as usual.
