a (half) day in amsterdam

amsterdam is only forty minutes by train from where we are staying in rotterdam, it makes for a fantastic day trip. we took our time wandering through the canals, flea markets, fair grounds and all kinds of districts. we stopped often to enjoy various treats and a range of pubs.

perhaps more than a day trip is required, lucky we're heading back on saturday for queen's day!

honeymooning

first post!

we just loved our first stop- sabah, malaysia. our honeymoon was exactly what you might expect from a tropical getaway- and just what we wanted! lazy, sunny days and evenings spent having dinner on the beach. we broke up the lounging with jungle walks, orangutan visits, boat cruises and visits to the local markets for bargain lunches.

next stop, the netherlands!
