amsterdam is only forty minutes by train from where we are staying in rotterdam, it makes for a fantastic day trip. we took our time wandering through the canals, flea markets, fair grounds and all kinds of districts. we stopped often to enjoy various treats and a range of pubs.
perhaps more than a day trip is required, lucky we're heading back on saturday for queen's day!
