wandering through the streets of mostar the aftermath of the war is still incredibly visible; especially at the sniper tower (formerly a bank) and the buildings surrounding it. the war is also still visible socially; in the attitudes and actions of the people. the more we tried to form an understanding of the war, the more complex it became. this is a fascinating and beautiful country- we wish we had more time to dedicate to understanding it.
